A series of prestigious awards, both national and international, have consolidated Leandro’s professional career. Among them, the prize won with his first ‘Buffet’ collection, presented at MBFW Madrid in 2012 and the 2012 Designer for Tomorrow award, which he won among more than 360 applicants. 

This award, given by former creative director of Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs, and the Department Store Peek&Cloppenburg, gave him the opportunity to produce the ‘Anima’ collection together with Marc Jacobs. The collection was presented at the MBFW Berlin 2013, his second foray into the Berlin catwalk.

As a result of his winning the first prize Samsumg Innovation Project 2014, Leandro participated in the next edition of Madrid Fashion Week, where he presented his most avant-garde collection: 083º, a daring combination of technology, crafts and fashion.

Under the name of LUKE LEANDRO CANO in 2014, he presented his three most commercial collections at MBFW Madrid.

In addition, Leandro Cano has undertaken important collaborations, such as the alliance with the Department Store Peek&Clppenburg to create an exclusive capsule collection with Marc Jacobs, or the Leandro Cano Weekend Bag by Pelonio, which was commercialized by the E-Bay E-talent shop.

Many of his pieces have been exhibited at the Angewandte Knust Museum in Franckfurt together with those by designers such as Mcqueen or Marguiela.
